About the artist
Multi-platform, award-winning creative Jodi Kendall has always been drawn to the details many people pass by.
The grain of old wood worn smooth over time. The way light moves through branches on a quiet afternoon. The pull of tide against rock, shaping the shoreline in ways too slow to notice.
Jodi’s paintings are a reflection of it all, built slowly and intentionally, layer by layer, until they feel just right.
She has studied painting and drawing techniques under acclaimed instructors at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Art Students League of New York. She is also a member of the Oregon Society of Artists and proud patron of the Portland Art Museum.
Jodi’s original works are collected across the country by those who feel the same pull toward light, color, texture, story, movement, and the natural world.
Introducing… the Tideglass Collection
Painted with acrylic on handmade 10x10 wood panels and expertly framed in floating white oak by a Portland, Oregon craftsman. The Tideglass paintings hold the quiet memory of discovery, of days spent by the sea, of the things we choose to keep.
